Quarriers are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual for a Temporary Support Worker Night Shift role. Social care is not a 9-5 job, some people require support at varying times, therefore candidates must have a flexible working approach. You will be resilient with strong self-awareness and excellent people skills. Experience of working in the field of learning disabilities is not essential however a willingness to learn the necessary skills is essential.

At Quarriers we support individuals with various support needs to meet the outcomes they wish to achieve in life. This support includes working with people who present challenging behaviour and people who are on the Autistic spectrum. We will offer development and learning opportunities to enhance the support you deliver in this area, alongside various other training to enable you be the best practitioner you possibly can be.

Due to the location of our posts candidates with access to their own vehicle would be preferred. Our East Dunbartonshire Services include: Kirkintilloch, Lenzie, Milton of Campsie, Bearsden, Milngavie, Bishopbriggs and the Royston area in Glasgow.

Successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC. Where you are employed in a service where registration is compulsory, you must ensure that you register in the appropriate category within 6 months of starting in post. After registration, there is a requirement to be qualified within 3 years.
