White Knight Recruitment are recruiting for a number of Support Workers to join a private healthcare provider in Farnborough, Hampshire. Our client specialises in supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and communication difficulties.
Our client is committed to providing high quality assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and continuing care which is responsive to the health and social needs of people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and communication difficulties.
The care offered is aimed at attaining and maintaining the mental and physical well being of the whole person, enabling the development of that individual's full potential to achieve maximum independence and quality of life, mentally, physically and socially. We actively seek the questions and opinions of both residents and their relatives and provide any advice or information required.
Support Workers will be responsible for working with clients on a one-to-one basis and supporting them with their emotional and social needs. No day will be the same as some people may need emotional support to get them through a difficult time, while others will need a more hands-on approach. It’s your job to analyse their needs and draw up a care plan that’s unique to them.
Support Workers may also become a "key worker" for one of your residents, meaning that you make a huge difference to someones life as you help them make important decisions about their futures. You will also help the residents maintain contact with their friends and family.
You will be required to work day and night shifts, as well as weekends so a flexible approach is required.
The ideal candidate will have some demonstrable support work experience, and be 100% flexible with their working hours, as well as evenings, nights, and weekends.
You will be paid a competitive salary of £7.50 per hour plus various enhancements.
