JOB TITLE: Experienced Care Assistants
SALARY & BENEFITS: Very competitive depending on experience
WORKING HOURS: Part Time & Full Time available
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Littlehampton, West Sussex are a leading welfare charity with a proud tradition of looking after members of the Royal Air Force. They are there for all serving and former members of the Royal Air Force as well as their partners and dependent children.
They now seek caring and reliable Experienced Care Assistants to join their existing team where you will be based at our clients care home in Rustington near Littlehampton, West Sussex.
THE ROLE: The role of the Care Assistants is to provide companionship to guests and to cater to a range of care needs. You will actively contribute as a team member towards delivering support and assistance as needed to meet the clients' social and personal care needs.
Key Responsibilities for the Experienced Care Assistants role in Rustington near Littlehampton, West Sussex :
- Provide support and companionship to residents
- Assist with personal care as and when needed
- Build/maintaining relationship with friends and family
- Updating Care plans and records
- Be part of events and activities
- Assist with day to day tasks such as eating, dressing, washing
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Care Assistant you will be a caring, empathetic person who is reliable and a flexible team player. You must have a minimum of an NVQ level 2 and it is essential your have previous experience as an Experienced Care Assistant. You will be friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator. You should share the company's goal of delivering excellent care to the client's and you will need to live within a commutable distance to Rustington, West Sussex. Although not essential a Driving Licence and use of own vehicle would be desirable.
Key Experience / Characteristics preferred for the Experienced Care Assistants / Support Workers role in Rustington near Littlehampton West Sussex :-
- NVQ 2 or Care Certificate qualification
- At least 2 years experience in a care setting
- Valid UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle would be desirable
