JOB TITLE: Support Workers
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £15,915 rising to £16,640 based on 35 hours & sleep-in duties (dependant on satisfactory completion of training), plus in depth training including NVQ training towards levels 2/3/4, First Aid, Autism, Makaton & Pamova.
WORKING HOURS: Day and night shifts, 21 hour, 28 hour and 35 hour contracts available.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a caring organisation that has been in operation since August 1999, providing support for individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. Due to expansion they are currently looking to recruit additional Support Workers and have opportunities available in Dudley, Halesowen, Lye, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton and Coventry.
THE ROLE: Working as a Support Worker, you will provide care to people within their own homes, allowing them to maintain their independence within the community.
Key Responsibilities of the Support Workers to include:-
Personal care
Cooking
Cleaning
Taking clients to appointments and activities
Managing behaviour
Medication management
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal Support Worker will be a caring and compassionate individual with good communication skills. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
Key skills/experience essential for the Support Worker role:
Able to work in one of the following locations: Dudley, Halesowen, Lye, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton or Coventry (we will try and place you close to your home, if possible).
Happy to undertake a DBS check.
