York House is a psychology led 38 bed independent hospital offering highly specialist neurobehavioural assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injury and challenging behaviour and / or complex needs. Our service really makes a difference to people's lives and we would like to meet you if you have the skills and motivation to contribute to our excellent work. We are looking for staff nurses to join York House to work as an integral part of a dynamic complex interdisciplinary team, delivering a comprehensive neuro-rehabilitation programme. You will work alongside support workers, psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychiatrist and social worker where an interdisciplinary approach is key to service delivery for service users and their families. RMN / RNLD experience is required but additional training in relation to the neurobehavioural model will be provided; however, a flexible approach and willingness to learn are essential. We offer a salary of up to £28,919 for a 35 hour week (shifts as per rota), to include weekends and nights, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) rising to 38 after 5 years service, pension (auto enrolment), sickness scheme and CPD (free modules) at York University. A comprehensive induction and training package is provided along with specific brain injury training. A preceptorship scheme is available for newly qualified nurses. |
