Orthopaedic Staff Nurse -Tunbridge Wells- Upto £30,000 PA
Dream Medical are currently seeking Band 5 Orthopaedic Nurses to work in an excellent private hospital within Tunbridge Wells
This private hospital specialises in providing first class Orthopaedic care from admission to discharge, ensuring that patient safety and comfort is at the forefront throughout.
Through providing excellent pre and post operative care to adult surgical patients undergoing orthopaedic surgeries (major and minor), you will gain valuable experience and expertise within this specialty.
In a central location - this hospital is ideal for commute via bus/rail/car. This position is perfect for nurses who have recent experience within orthopaedic surgery and hold a clean NMC pin.
Daily duties will include:
-Provide individual nursing care
-Administration of Oral/Intravenous/NG Medications
-Care planning
-Assessment and recording observations
-Pre/Post operative monitoring
-Liaising with Multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes
-Use of traction/splints/ frames.
-Use of analgesia/Controlled drugs
-Pain assessment and scoring.
-Maintaining strict infection control policies
