The hospital caters for children and adolescents (aged 12 - 18) who suffer from eating disorders and offers two treatment programmes, a Rapid Response Unit (RRU) and a High Dependency Unit (HDU). The RRU admits patients within 24 hours of referral and aims to stabilise their physical and psychological states as rapidly as possible for transfer to step down service. The HDU admits patients whose illness requires more intense levels of clinical involvement and nursing.

The successful candidate will be actively registered with the NMC as a mental health nurse (RMN.) It is preferred if candidates have had previous experience in caring for eating disorders however this is not essential as newly qualified candidates will also be considered.
