Speciality Doctor - Private Hospital - Birmingham

REQUIRED: Experienced Speciality Doctor required to lead the way in forensic services in a private mental health hospital, Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Assisting the Consultant Psychiatrist you will be responsible for determining a high quality clinical service to patients.

The successful candidate will have their MBBS qualification, and full registration with the GMC.

If accepted for the role you will be involved in day to day patient care including initial clerking and continuous health reviews. You will need to regularly meet patients to develop therapeutic relationships, assess their mental state, behaviour and response to therapy.

Other tasks include writing reports, tribunal hearings with support from the consultant and others.
