Service Manager - Adult Social Care

My local authority client are currently looking for an interim Service Manager for Adult Social Care.

You would be responsible for leading and developing the Adult Wellbeing aspect of the care act. Providing a strategic approach and input to the prevention strategy.

You would also be responsible for providing service management support to the reablement service, helping to build the teams confidence.

We are looking for someone with experience of building senior relationships across health and social care, with an in depth understanding for the care act.

This will include managing and developing the service to ensure that the adults early intervention strategy is delivered and incorporates the following; ICES, Telecare, Community resilience, volunteering, Slivers of time, time banks, Social Impact bonds.

We are looking for someone that has operated at service manager level within social care, has experience of reablement, and in depth knowledge of the Care Bill.

The assignment will initially be until March 31st 2015, however it is likely to go on for longer than this.

The client will consider remote working options of circa 1 day per week from home.
