That’s why, since 1844, we’ve been campaigning, training and pioneering projects - services to help improve the wellbeing and social inclusion of disabled adults and children.

Right now, we’re looking for a Service Co-ordinator who shares our passion, values and dedication to join us at South Northants.

Your challenge? Supporting people to live their life as independantly as possible within their own home and communty making sure the service we provide is to the highest standard of professional support, you’ll also engender an environment that will enable each person living and working in the care home to achieve their maximum potential. Offering support with residents personal needs will be important too, as will providing stimulation and motivation through conversation and social activities. Anything it takes, in fact, to help them enjoy more independence and a better quality of life.

As well as proven relevant experience, you’ll need to have completed foundation training such as LDAF, moving and handling etc. We’ll also be looking for excellent communication skills and an understanding of basic money management. Familiar with the legislation relating to the services we provide, experience of working with the client group, is also essential.

What’s more, you should be committed to the philosophy of Care in the Community and capable of motivating a team and contributing to their development. In return, we’ll provide plenty of support and guidance, a great working environment and a wide range of benefits.

If you’re an experienced support worker with a NVQ/QCF 3 in Care or equivalent and a background in care that includes having supervised others, this role could be your ideal next move.
