SALARY & BENEFITS: From £8.85 per hour, pension + uniform provided
WORKING HOURS: 7.15am - 4.15pm on a rota basis over a 7 day period. Contracted hours 31.5 per week to include weekends.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a residential care home based in Crowland.They provide support that is tailored to the individual needs for their 24 residents. They are seeking an enthusiastic, trustworthy, compassionate and motivated Senior Day Carer to join their friendly team. In return my client offers excellent progression opportunities.
THE ROLE: For the role of the Senior Day Carer you will deliver a high quality service of care to their residents. You will assist in the delivery of support and care for residents to enable them to live as independently as possible. This will meet the care needs of the individual and emotional support to family and friends.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Day Carer role to include:-
To support patients with managing their daily activities
Personal care
Nutritional and fluid needs of the individual
Supporting emotional needs
Record keeping
Supervise other members of staff
Administer medication
Liaising with other healthcare professionals like doctors, district nurses etc
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Senior Day Carer you will be a reliable and flexible team player. You will be friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator. You share the company's goal of delivering excellent care to the residents and you will need to live within a commutable distance to Crowland.
Key experience essential for the role of Senior Day Carer :-
Applicants must have NVQ 3 in Care or equivalent
Experience in leading a team and medication
Worked in a residential setting for at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
