Bretsa Early years are working closely with as well established nursery chain who are currently looking for a experienced Room Leader to join their team in Westminster .
The ideal Room Leader will be expected to provide inspiration to nursery children through exciting activities in all areas of learning whilst incorporating EYFS as well as being passionate about early years education and empowering our clients children to reach their maximum potential.
This is full time position based on 40 hours a week (Mon-Fri)
The duties of a Room Leader will include:
Be responsible for the delivery of best practice in relation to childcare provision.
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure best practice is prioritised.
To contribute to the creation, maintenance and improvement of a child centred environment
To work closely with Management to ensure the smooth running of the setting
To ensure all Keyworkers plan and deliver a developmental programme through play suitable to the age and stage of development for each child
To monitor and evaluate the impact of the daily routine in conjunction with Keyworkers
You will need the following qualifications and experience:
Qualified to NNEB/NVQ level 3/ CACHE Level 3/ BTEC National in Childcare or equivalent
Have experience of working with children from 0-5 years.
Have experience of managing staff as a Room Leader
Have working experience and knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Our client is offering a negotiable salary as well as bonuses and benefits with on-going support and career development.
The successful candidate will be willing to undergo a check with DBS (formerly CRB)
