Following an expansion in our service provision, we are recruiting Rehabilitation Support Workers to support service users in our residential community services in Osman House, Leeds. Our service provides assessment and rehabilitation to adults with acquired brain injury and challenging behaviour and/or complex needs.
As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will provide support to our service users appropriate to their individual needs ensuring that each service user leads a full and valued life. You will contribute to providing a homely living environment, whereby the service users have maximum involvement in their own activities and decision making. You will enable service users to participate in and contribute to the local community.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, motivation, flexibility and professional insight to meet the needs of service users with complex needs and challenging behaviour. You will need use your initiative and be able to organize daily activities to support the service users and complete household duties.
This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals!
Relevant qualifications include Level 2 Generic Health and Social Care Diploma or equivalent.
Terms: £8.11 per hour & £1.00 per hour enhancement at weekends/public holidays.

Developed and run by the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust, the service uses a neurobehavioral approach, to people with cognitive, physical and emotional/behavioural problems following an acquired brain injury. We offer a comprehensive range of services including expert assessments and rehabilitation.
