Registered Nurse

Duties include but are not restricted to:

Providing appropriate nursing care of a high standard to our elderly residents.
 Being responsible for the running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager.
 Leading and motivating the care and support team.
 Ensuring the residents rights to privacy, dignity, choice, autonomy and safety is promoted at all times.
 Communicating effectively with residents, families, friends and outside parties including G.P's and Multi-disciplinary teams.
 Ensuring that all medications including controlled drugs are ordered, stored, administered and disposed of correctly.
 Ensuing all paper work, care plans and administration is up to date and correctly completed.
 To be responsible for your own health and safety and that of anybody else who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
 To take responsibility for Safeguarding of adults under your care.

For this role you must have:

Registered Nurse Qualification and currently be registered with the NMC.
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
