Home Care Worker in Wimbledon

4Social Work have a new job vacancy for an experienced Home Care Worker to join our fast growing team working in the local Wimbledon area. 

You will be a permanent member of the healthcare team responsible for bringing the 4Social Work standard of care to every individual within this role.

You will be working regular shifts as Home Care Worker, within the community, and we have a variety of different shift patterns on offer including days, nights and weekends if required.

The Home Care Worker Job Role:
 

• To provide personal and practical care services for people with a wide range of illnesses and
• To assist service users with getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing,
• bathing and the toilet where necessary.
• To help service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including
• incontinence and help in use- and care of aids and personal equipment.
• To help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users through talking to them, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and
• To make and change beds; tidy rooms; do light cleaning and empty commodes.
• To launder service users’ clothing.
• To set tables and trays, serve meals, feed service users who need help, prepare light meals and wash up, and tidy and clear away.
• To read and write in log-book records and take part in staff and service users' meetings and in training activities as directed.

In order to be considered for this job you will need the following:

• Right to live and work in the UK
• UK Driving License and access to own vehicle is essential
• At least 4 months previous paid experience working as a Carer
