Title: Hospital Director

Salary: £45,000 + £5000 car allowance

Job Type: Full Time (37.5 hours, Monday - Friday)

Location: Guiseley, Leeds

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Hospital Director looking to work in the private hospital setting, working for a very reputable care provider. The hospital will be opening in summer this year and will provide a dedicated locked rehabilitation pathway for men recovering from mental illness and/or personality disorder providing a step-down pathway from medium and low secure services.


Reporting directly to the Regional Executive Director the successful candidate will be responsible for the successful start-up and running of the hospital, commissioning of the new service together with on-going accountability for operations on a day to day basis.


The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Relevant clinical qualifications and experience commensurate with successful certification by the CQC as hospital Registered Manager (previous Registered Manager experience an advantage).

• Relevant and successful operational management experience at a senior level involving leadership and development of a multidisciplinary team.

• Commercially astute with proven ability to engage with internal - external stakeholders in order to grow the business and meet key operational targets and objectives.

• Experience of managing systems of clinical and corporate governance to ensure service quality compliance and the safeguarding of patients and all relevant stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure and referencing.
