Would you like to make a difference to an older adult within your local community?

It is essential you are a car driver due to the nature of the role.

Our client, has been accredited with, The Queen's Award for Enterprise Winner 2016, they provide and specialise in care & support to clients who are still active, but require a helping hand to remain independent. This could include offering support to help them with their morning routine, assistance with washing, dressing, prompting to take medication, taking them out shopping/attending local groups, attending doctors/hospital appointments, preparing a meal for them and being a friend and someone for company. Nothing is rushed we spend quality time with the people we support.

Being a Home Care Assistant & Companion is very rewarding and works both ways, you will also gain a companion & friend!

What are the potential hours?

You will be looking for part-time hours approximately 10-25 hours per week. If you are available some early mornings, lunchtimes, afternoons, evenings or a couple of hours on a weekend spare then this position is ideal for you.

We pay an excellent hourly rate of £8.50 - £9.50 Per Hour + mileage allowance and holiday pay.

What skills do you need to be a Home Care Assistant or Companion?

Firstly, you have to want to make a difference and have a big heart! You can be any age group and from any background there is no upper limit, the ability to be able to strike a relationship and rapport with the person you are paired with is so important. You should also be happy to provide personal care which could be helping someone brush their teeth, assisting with washing & dressing, feeding or brushing their hair.
