Health Support Workers Required - Full - Part Time Positions - Fareham, Hampshire
White Knight Recruitment are recruiting for a number of Health Support Workers to work for a private healthcare provider in Fareham, Hampshire. Our client specialises in supporting users with mental health conditions such as complex care needs, learning disabilities and schizophrenia.
Our client is committed to providing high quality assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and continuing care which is responsive to the health and social needs of people with mental health and behavioural problems. Care is designed to optimise and maintain the quality of life for our residents and is based on the belief that they must be treated as individuals and with respect.
The care offered is aimed at attaining and maintaining the mental and physical well being of the whole person, enabling the development of that individual's full potential to achieve maximum independence and quality of life, mentally, physically and socially. We actively seek the questions and opinions of both residents and their relatives and provide any advice or information required.
You will be responsible for working with clients on a one-to-one basis and supporting them with their emotional and social needs. No day will be the same as some people may need emotional support to get them through a difficult time, while others will need a more hands-on approach. It’s your job to analyse their needs and draw up a care plan that’s unique to them.
You will be required to work day and night shifts, as well as weekends so a flexible approach is required.
The ideal applicant will have an NVQ Level 2 or above, as well as experience in a support worker role.
In return you will be paid £7.18 - £7.47 per hour as a basic rate, with various enhancements for overtime and weekend work.
