~~The Beeches Homecare Services is a family run domiciliary care agency with over 28 years of experience in health and social care.  We provide homecare across all areas of Cirencester, Malmesbury, Tetbury, Chippenham, Corsham and other surrounding villages and are recruiting in North Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire. We have offices in Malmesbury and Cirencester with in-house training offering you the chance to grow and develop with us.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, established team of Care Assistants and Support Workers.
What we do -
The purpose of the role is to provide care and support to all clients to enable them to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own home.  The role will involve working alone or as part of a team to provide personal care, promote independence and support people with daily living skills.

  • As detailed in the Care Plan, encourage clients to undertake personal care and domestic tasks which they are capable of, recognising that their abilities may change, in some circumstances, on a day to day basis
  • Assist clients as appropriate with their personal needs, such as dressing, washing, supervising bathing, toileting and feeding as detailed in the Care Plan
  • Assist clients with, or where necessary carry out light housework
  • Undertake shopping, collect pensions, pay bills and deal with mail (if listed on the Care Plan) and provide validated receipts for expenditure of client’s money

You will not need any experience for this role as full training will be provided to you from day 1 and throughout your time with us.

What you’ll need -
You must be reliable and able to work without supervision while adhering to company policies. Have a respectful, courteous and compassionate nature and a willingness to undertake any aspects of care duties. A belief in giving your best at all times and striving for continuous improvement.  Common sense and a willingness to help are essential qualities along with demonstrable passion for caring for the elderly and infirm and a flair for helping people maintain their independence and choice in homely surroundings.  To maintain integrity when dealing with matters of client confidentiality.  Be willing to undertake training to develop new skills and be willing to be flexible and accountable.

You will be required to provide valuable care and support for daily shifts between 7:00am – 2pm and 4pm – 10pm with availability for some shifts on an alternate weekend basis.
You must hold a full driving licence, valid to drive in the UK.
