Right now, we’re looking for a highly motivated individual who is happy to work as part of a flexible rota system, and lead our domestic team to join us at Bradbury Court - Opened in 2000, Bradbury Court in Harrow, northwest London, is a spacious, modern home which can accommodate up to 21 disabled adults.
Your challenge? Day-to-day, you’ll ensure a high quality standard of cleaning/laundry service is maintained and a safe environment provided for all service users, employees and visitors. We’ll also rely on you to oversee, allocate and undertake cleaning tasks according to work schedules and make sure all areas are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. Role Requirements
To succeed, you’ll need proven relevant experience, including cleaning/laundry services, a sound knowledge of the appropriate Health - Safety requirements and a good understanding of how to operate domestic equipment. Experience of infection control practices and preparing/completing work schedules is important too, as is the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with people with a range of needs. Happy to provide coaching and guidance to your team, you’re also willing to learn new tasks and undertake training when required.
If your cleaning experience has been gained in a commercial or registered care home environment, including in a supervisory role, this challenging role of Domestic Supervisor could be your ideal next move.
