Right now, we’re looking for a dedicated individual who’s happy to work as part of a rota system, to join us at Kenway Court in Southend on Sea.
Your Challenge? Help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Day-to-day, you’ll undertake cleaning tasks and laundry duties according to work schedules and, if you spot any repairs or maintenance that’s needed to fabric, furniture or fittings, we’ll rely on you to report them.
You’ll also be responsible for ensuring an adequate stock of cleaning materials is maintained, safely stored, logged and risk assessed in line with health - safety requirements.
Role Requirements
To succeed, you’ll need proven relevant experience, knowledge of Health - Safety requirements and a good understanding of how to operate domestic equipment. Experience of infection control practices and completing work schedules is important too, as is the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with people with a range of needs. Happy working on your own initiative, you're a good team player who is thoroughly reliable too.
