DISTRICT NURSE (B6)
Location: Ravenswood Clinic, Ipswich
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Sunday)
Salary: 25,528-34,189 plus benefits (with a potential relocation allowance plus additional generous benefits)
Serco Suffolk Community Healthcare is an innovative and transforming provider of community health services within Suffolk. Serco Suffolk Community Healthcare has a patient-centred multidisciplinary teams work within patients` own homes and our community inpatient settings, providing services for a very varied adult caseload including those with long term conditions including pulmonary rehabilitation and those at risk of falling.
We aim to promote and facilitate independence, often preventing admission and supporting early discharge.
We are recruiting for a District Nurse within our Community Healthcare teams in Ravenswood Surgery, Ipswich. You will assist the Team Leader to provide managerial and clinical leadership; the delivery of high quality nursing services within guidelines; standard operating procedure and policies.
You will organise resources including staff, to deliver care across Health and Social Care ensuring a seamless service for the housebound Suffolk population within both hospital and community settings.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
* Registered Nurse level 1 & District Nurse qualification
* Current NMC registration
* Evidence of skill relevant to the nursing of adults with long term conditions gained through theory, practical courses and experience
* Experience of working with a range of primary and community services including Health, Adult Care Services and the Independent Sector
* Able to travel to rural locations
* Drivers license
