We are currently seeking flexible Health Care Support Workers to work within our complex care team in Gloucester & the surrounding areas.
As a part of the complex care team you will be delivering specialist care to service users with complex long term conditions within their own home, conditions such as
Acquired Brain Injuries
Spinal Cord Injuries
Motor Neurone Disease
Huntington’s
Cerebral Palsy
Ventilator Dependent Clients
Transitional Care

Requirements
Desirable - NVQ level 2 in Health & Social care with the desire to work towards NVQ level 3 in health & social care.
Must have a minimum of 1 years experience in a relevant setting.
Commitment to delivering the highest standards of patient care, enabling service users to reach their full potential.
Previous experience or training around peg feeds, Tracheostomies, Suctioning ,Ventilators an advantage.
Punctual & Reliable
Whilst previous community experience is desirable it is not essential.
Be competent & comfortable working in an autonomous working environment
An understanding of complex care provision and the clinical & social challenges that delivering care in this environment can present.
Full UK driving License.
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the service.
