Community Worker
Our client, a well known Housing Association, is looking for 2 Community Support officers to support Forensic Mental Health Service users in their own tenancies. The role will involve an amount of housing related responsibilities including monitoring and advising on rent, helping claiming benefits, ASB and repairs reporting as well as working with CMHT, Probation and other agencies.
You will have both a Housing and a Mental Health background and be able to engage difficult and high risk service users. You will have signed up the the DBS update checking service (as this is a quick start), and be able to provide 5 years continuous references.
The role is full time, 9-5, Monday to Friday, with some weekends, usually about one per month, and is an ongoing contract.
