Do you have a caring nature and enjoy helping people?
Would you like to make a difference to the quality of people's lives?
We are looking for a reliable, honest, caring and compassionate person to join our team of community carers working in and around the Long Eaton area. We make a real difference to the people we support. We help people to live independent and fulfilled lives in the comfort of their own homes.
You would be working as part of a structured team dedicated to supporting both physical and emotional needs. We listen to our service users and tailor our service to individual needs whilst promoting independence, choice and individuality.
Your duties would include domestic tasks and personal care with the use of some mobility equipment. You would respect and promote a person's privacy and dignity at all times and respect their rights and opinions.
You need not have experience in care as we would provide full training in every aspect of the role.
Full time staff work various shifts, typically:
6am til approx 3pm - full 8 hour shifts
approx 3.30pm til approx 11.30pm - full 7 hour shifts
Shifts vary as we work on a rota basis but our shifts are full runs (not splits) so our full time staff do get 35-40 hours per week in 5 days.
* Gaps may appear occasionally due to unforeseen circumstances such as a client in hospital
We offer excellent rates of pay and 28 days paid holiday per year. On the offer of a position we would need to apply for a DBS check and two references.
