COORDINATOR (DISABLED CHILDREN - YOUNG PEOPLE) - BERKSHIRE AREA - £23672-£25955 PER ANNUM - 3 MONTH CONTRACT - POSSIBLY PERMANENT - IMMEDIATE START
We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our partnered disabled children and young people service providers as a Coordinator for their base in Berkshire. This is a 3 month contract position working 36 hours per week, including some weekend and evening hours, and may be extended to a permanent position.
Your responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to:
• To co-ordinate, manage and deliver the short breaks service across Berkshire, including the development of new out of school opportunities, places young people with the correct support staff in response to their needs and the needs of the family.
• To ensure the clients Short Break Services are of a good quality and meet required standards of good practice and legislation
• To plan, deliver, record, and evaluate the clients Short Break Services in consultation with partner agencies, parents and service users
• To support disabled children and young people with additional requirements to access an exciting and challenging program of activities in a safe and stimulating environment and promote and develop inclusive opportunities.
To be considered for this position you must have previous experience within a similar position offering services to disabled children and young people.
