Title: Clinical Lead Nurse
Salary: £30,420

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Clinical Lead Nurse. Working for a very reputable care provider. This position is for a registered nurse, RGN, RMN or RNLD qualified.
Working alongside other nursing staff, this person will be responsible for supporting with the nursing service. Through managing and supporting the Care Assistants on the floor of the allocated units. To lead the nursing team in the delivery of safe practice within the Company policies and procedures, professional standards and resource protocols whilst ensuring staff have understanding of them.
The successful candidate will implement and ensure appropriate reporting of incidents affecting residents and staff, and also maintain legal documentation. Act as a supervisor, teacher and mentor to members of the nursing team supporting professional and mandatory development, including Health and Safety issues. Work with the Home Management, training lead and staff within the Home to identify the training needs and ensure these are followed through into the Homes training plan. Advise nursing and ancillary staff regarding ‘PREP’, in-house and external study days, in liaison with the Home Manager.
The Clinical Lead will be responsible for the day to day running of the care centre, in the absence of the Manager. Through the Growth of the client, the Clinician will expect to join the manager training programme to progress into a future Management role.
Person Specification:
- Nurse qualified
- Knowledge of Care Planning
- Broad understanding of the Care Commission requirements
- Understand of the CQC standards toward Care
- Experience in managing and support Nurse development
- Experience with POVA and safe guarding Teams
