CLINICAL LEAD NURSE - 36 HOURS PER WEEK

Woodstock Nursing Home are seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse to complement their team in providing Nursing, Dementia and End of Life Care.

The successful candidate will support the Home Manager and team to plan, deliver and support Outstanding Care to our Resident’s and families.
You will be hard working and trustworthy, able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously. There will be times when you have to work on your own and use your initiative within an environment where there may be pressures.

The role will predominantly be to lead and develop the team, under the guidance of the Home Manager, to role model and co-ordinate care in line with Best Practice Guidelines, Regulation and Legislation. For this reason you will need a sound understanding of CQC regulation, national and local policy and legislation and a flare for ‘thinking on your feet’.

Through regular audits of our person-centred care plans you will ensure the delivery care is accurately recorded and that all relevant documentation is always up to date. An open communication style is essential in this role along with the ability to implement action plans for improvement and to build a reputation of high quality delivery for the community. You will also support the Home Manager in a number of business areas, developing your skills to ensure competent management in the Manager’s absence.

Applicants must be highly motivated, professional in approach and appearance, and have excellent leadership and communication skills. We are looking for individuals with a genuine warm and friendly manner, who can multi-task where necessary and remain enthusiastic in their approach. You must be able to pay attention to the details and be capable of working under your own initiative, and be available to work shifts, possibly including some weekends/nights.
Successful appointments are subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check. Candidates must have a valid NMC Pin Number and be authorised to work in the EU.
Salary dependant on experience – to be discussed at interview.

To express an interest, please send a covering letter and CV to lyndsey@woodstocknursinghome.co.uk

Interviews will be held on April 2nd 2015. All successful shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 30th March – please consider yourself unsuccessful if you do not hear from us by this time.
