Carer Wellbeing and Support Worker - Young Adult Carers
Salary £10,798 for 18.5 hrs (fte £21,597)
Littlehampton based
You will be working in the Coastal/Chichester location of West Sussex with young adult carers.
Do you have a good understanding of carers issues?
Do you have experience or working knowledge of the issues faced by young adult carers?
Do you have good communication and networking skills?
You will work as a member of a countywide-team to achieve recognition for all carers, provide information and personalised advice, support and advocacy for carers and work in partnership with local voluntary, health and social care services.
Essential qualities include understanding the generic and condition specific issues carers face, excellent interpersonal skills, experience in a relevant work role and commitment to high quality service.
