£9.00 to £10.40 per hour plus 30p per mile

We are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant who can work a mixture of shifts from 7am to 12noon and 5pm to 10pm, to assist our customers in their own homes with every day tasks and activities.

As this is a mobile role, candidates MUST have their own car which they are prepared to use and insure for work.

Salary is £9.00 per hour weekdays, £10.40 per hour weekends plus 30p per mile.

The Care Assistant will be expected to provide all care, including:

Washing, bathing, showering, oral care , grooming
Toileting, assisting with use of commode
Continence management
Using manual handling equipment
Assisting customers to go to bed, including undressing and washing
Preparation of meals and feeding assistance
General household duties
Bed making and laundry
Shopping and supplies management

Candidates will also have excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail. We provide full training and mentor support for the role so previous experience is not required, however previous experience in customers services or retail would be advantageous.
