As part of our expanding Care at Home provision, Abbeyfield is looking for 5 Care at Home Support Workers to within the Greater Manchester area.

The role of a Care at Home Support Worker involves working closely with clients within their homes to ensure that they have every opportunity to fulfil their needs and enjoy life. You will promote the physical, social, intellectual and emotional wellbeing of our clients and give them the encouragement and confidence to continue daily activities in their own homes, whilst promoting their independence and assisting with tasks that have become more difficult.

Varied duties will include providing assistance to clients with their personal care, medication, social visits and shopping as detailed in their person centred support plan.

Previous experience within a similar role is essential as this role will be autonomous and the successful candidates must be able to carry out the role with limited supervision.

Car driver with own transport is essential.
