Care - Support Workers Required - Brighton - Hove - Immediate Starts Available

We are working in partnership with a care provider based in Brighton - Hove that caters for children aged 6-18 that have emotional, social and behaviour difficulties. They have exciting new job opportunities for career minded care and support workers to join their residential services based in Brighton - Hove.

You will be responsible for offering exceptional care and support to children and young adults who have complex needs or have experienced neglect and / or chaotic and traumatic situations in their lives. You will also provide special professional support to the children in learning how to cope with the pressures and demands of day-to-day living, before they can be expected to survive and thrive in a family-based placement, or the start of their independent lives.

Support workers who are interested in applying for this exciting new job opportunity, will need to have a passion for providing exceptional support to children who have experienced difficulties and be excellent listeners. Previous experience working with children or young adults in a similar setting or with children who have challenging behaviour would be preferred, but not essential.

Support workers typically work a 40 hour week across a 7 day rota and will be required to work 3 sleep-ins per week, which includes weekends. In return you will be paid £7.70 - £8.50 depending on experience and will receive a salary enhancement for sleep-in shifts.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch today for immediate consideration.
