Administrator - £14000 per annum - 6 to 9 months contract

We are looking for an experienced office administrator who has a background in health and social care and who is looking for a Monday to Friday job with a very friendly busy team in Coventry. Our client is a Domiciliary Home care provider and the branch is very busy and so requires a cheerful, organised and IT literate administrator to support the office operation.

Ideally you would have come from a health & social care background, perhaps as a carer with an NVQ 2 or 3 and have excellent communications skills, be able to liaise with staff, service users, families and care managers/GP services. This job is a really varied exciting but challenging role but excellent training and ongoing support will of course be given happily as the team is a close knit very friendly experienced team and everyone supports one another.

Your duties will include answering the telephone, taking messages and logging calls, ensuring messages are given to the appropriate person for action, assisting with staff recruitment, updating staff files and service user files, typing letters and dealing with correspondence, welcoming visitors and staff to the branch, supporting staff and ensuring they feel valued and cared for, understanding staff rota's and sometimes assisting with planning staff rota's in a supportive role and ensuring coordinators are aware of any changes to staff availability etc.

This is a short term contract of up to 6-9 months and our client is looking for a motivated and very enthusiastic positive person to join this happy team.
