'The Rectory' is in the process of registering with Ofsted to open a 5 bed residential home to children and/or young people who struggle with managing their behaviour and emotions due to previous trauma, abuse and/or rejection. This means it can be a challenging enviornment to work within however the management team are nurturing and supportive.
4 children/young people will live here permenantly or until they are ready to move on. There will be 1 placement offered to a child or young person in an emergency for a short term period.
The children/young people will be aged 12 - 18 of either gender. Children/young people will be from the local area of Gloucestershire.
Applicants would be asked to support children and young people with their emotions and behaviours and help them to recover and heal from the difficulties they may have previously suffered. This will involve work with their families, social workers and other professionals.
It is shift work and sleep-ins are required.
