Home Carer
First City Home Care requires Home Carers for all hours between 7am - 11pm, 7 days per week. No experience is necessary, but a full driving licence and your own car is essential.
First City Nursing Homecare is the leading family run nursing agency supplying nurses, support workers and care assistants to nursing homes, learning disability placements, care homes, hospitals and individuals within their own homes.
The purpose of the role is to provide care and support to all service users to enable them to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own home.
As a Care Assistant your main duties and responsibilities are:
- Assist clients as appropriate with their personal needs, such as dressing, washing, supervising bathing, toileting and feeding as detailed in the Care Plan
- Assist clients with, or where necessary carry out light housework
- Undertake shopping, collect pensions, pay bills and deal with mail (if listed on the Care Plan) and provide validated receipts for expenditure of client's money
